I laugh every year when I hear people that people are going to wake up at 3am and camp outside the store in line in order to get "deals" that "just aren't available" all the other days of the year. I decided to do a little research and sure enough..my theories are right. Most of the time, retailers just mark up the price of the product in order to make it look like you are getting some great deal (50% off!!) when. indeed, you are really only getting 20% at best...
Proof in the pudding...look at the original prices here between JCPenny and Sears..

Really?? THAT was 84.00 originally when JCPenny had it for 50.00 originally?? Hmm something doesn't add up.
