Somedays...

Some nights when I lay my head down on my pillow, I am actively aware of how truly blessed I am. Not only am I so gosh darned lucky enough to have a roof over my head, a full belly, fresh pjs and sheets, and a hoard of other 'things', I have a truly unique God. I am so very touched when I really sit and think about how much He loves us and how much He must have loved me to have carved my days out like He has. I have a few select people in my life (family, friends), that when I sit and think about them..I could honestly cry at the beauty and purity of the love I have for them. And what's even more, is that I never doubt that they have the same exact love for me. So tonight, I will fall asleep with another ritual nightly prayer, "Thank You, Lord..."
